SUGAR SCRUB: Chocolate Adventure

There is this store that has been blooming across the Philippine market, and they sell Dead Sea Salt scrubs and other cosmetics made from the same salt. Now, I don't doubt the power of the Dead Sea, who am I to question that? They have scientific basis after all. What I don't like is how steep the prices of these products, and how aggressive their salespeople are. They hire idk, Iranian people to sell their stuff which probably adds to the selling factor. Ooh people from Middle East sells them! Must be the real deal. Bahh!

I don't care if it's the real deal or not. I am NOT buying some damn salt when I can buy a gadget for the same amount.

Did I say, they have really aggressive salesmen? Scary! The guy asked me what scrub do I use, and I told him, "Sugar" and he gives me this wtf face. ಠ_ಠ I know you must be giving me the same look.

But hear me out. Last year I became obsessed with my skin. I'm at the prime of my youth and I know I need to take care of it to enjoy myself. So after many research, trial and errors, and testing on my friends, I found the perfect recipe for that scrub.

For the nerdy facts(from so many references that I've already forgotten where is from which):
Chocolate: Chocolate and face? wtf with you woman?! You want me to get acne???? lol okay, I know a lot of people tends to break out whenever they eat chocolate, hence the myth. Actually, what causes the reaction is the milk in milk chocolate. I've never gotten acne over chocolate, maybe cause what I like is the dark ones. Chocolate is also a known anti-oxidant. Anti-oxidants comes from the word oxide (meaning oxygen compounds). No, too much oxygen is really bad for you. In fact it kills. These oxides are toxins, and causes premature aging, and cell death. Chocolate helps our body fight those off. It also has properties that softens skin.

Sugar: a natural preservative and a great buffing agent. Since it is a natural organic product, this is the perfect scrub for any skin type. I find this the best too as it is gentler than salt.

Chocolatey Skin Food ♥‿♥

I call this Chocolate Adventure. Simply Because!
Recipe:
1 tbs Cocoa Powder

5 tbs Sugar
1 tbs (more or less) water

You can use organic or white sugar. Doesn't matter.  ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿

In a container, mix the cocoa powder and sugar. Add water, and mix, until you reach a pasty consistency. Place on airtight container.

See? Easy  (〃^∇^)ノ you can add anything with this scrub, like honey, yogurt or olive oil.

How to use:

While on the shower, rub about a teaspoonful of the scrub on a freshly cleansed skin. Massage GENTLY for a minute or so, and leave it for 3 minutes or more. I tell you, after usage, your skin will be soft as a baby's bottom. It's that awesome!

Your skin may appear red after use. But that would easily fade away. It's perfect for sensitive skin (did I mention I studied my friends for this?)

Enjoy and tell me your results!
